自然禪之身放鬆

身放鬆 Relaxatiion of the Body

身當然指的是「身體」,是可以看到的物理上的形體。只要身體能夠放鬆,很多自我療癒的機制就會被啟動。如果身體無法放鬆,做什麼樣的運動都是沒有用的。因為緊繃的運動,有時候對身體反而是一種傷害。也就是中醫師所說的「身不鬆,心難鬆,身不鬆,氣難通」。清理體內的毒素清理體內的垃圾,只有在你完全放鬆的時候才能夠發揮出來。

The body of course refers to the physical form of a human. As long as the body can relax, many self-healing mechanisms are activated. If the body cannot relax, it is useless to do any kind of exercise. If a body cannot be relaxed, sometimes it is a kind of injury to the body. This is what TCM practitioners say, "If the body is not relaxed, the mind is hard to relax, and the body is not relaxed, and the energy is hard to circulate throughout the body." Clearing the body of toxins and junk can only come into play when you are completely relaxed.

黃老師的研究與大多數的中醫師們一致,他認為放鬆全身有利於經絡的暢通。他常提到「經絡暢通」是自我治療的最高原則。他也常提到中國歷代各種武術、太極、氣功、推拿、拍打、刮痧、拔罐、按摩等都是在進行經絡的疏通。經絡不通會影響氣血的運行,民間也有「經絡不通,用藥無功」的說法。但這些有為的方法都不是黃老師要學員追求的。他要的是一種完全放空的身放鬆。一種不受腦意識控制的放鬆,讓身體找出自我修復的能量,這種能量只有在完全放鬆的情況下才能展現出來。所以他發現自然放鬆運動就是最好自我治病的方法。

Mr. Huang's research is consistent with that of most traditional Chinese medicine practitioners. He believes that relaxing the whole body is beneficial to the smooth flow of energy in the meridians. He often mentioned that "unblocking the meridians" is the highest principle of self-treatment. He also often mentioned that various martial arts, Tai Chi, Qigong, Tuina massage, Paida, Cupping/Scraping,  massage, etc. in the past dynasties in China are all to dredge the meridians. The blockage of the meridians will affect the operation of qi and blood. There is also a folk saying that "the meridians block and the medication will be ineffective". But these promising methods are not what Teacher Huang wants his students to pursue. What he wants is a complete relaxation of the body. A relaxation that is not controlled by the conscious mind, allowing the body to seek out the self-healing energy that can only manifest when fully relaxed. So he found that natural relaxation exercise is the best way to self-medicate.


所以黃老師的自然運動是要在完全放鬆的情況下進行。它跟其它的運動不一樣是在於強調自然、放鬆、運動六個字。這三件事相互依存,缺一不可,必須同時做到。這種運動跟跑步、走路、游泳等運動並不完全相同。跑步、走路、游泳等都是非常好的運動,也達到相當程度的放鬆。但是必須遵守一些規則、招式。雖然它們協助運動者達到某種程度的放鬆,但是並不是全方位的放鬆。自然禪的自然太極,是無心無為,而不是有心有為。它會達到太極拳的所講究的細、長、勻、慢、呼、吸、吐、納等行為,但完全是自然而來,隨著身體的律動產生。所以黃老師又稱它是一種「自律運動」,或簡稱「律動」。達到更高層次的放鬆,就能達到更高層次的自我修復,開發自己更高層次的潛在能力,啟動細胞的智慧而達到健康的目的。

So Mr. Huang's natural exercise is to be carried out in complete relaxation. It is different from other sports in that it emphasizes the three words-- nature, relaxation and exercise. These three things are interdependent and must be done simultaneously. This exercise is not exactly the same as running, walking, swimming, etc. Running, walking, swimming, etc. are all very good exercises, and also achieve a considerable degree of relaxation. But there are some rules and moves that must be followed. While they assist the athlete to achieve some degree of relaxation, they are not all-encompassing. 

The natural Tai Chi of Natural Zen, for example, is to have no intention and no definite action. It can achieve the  thinness, lengthiness, uniformity, slowness, gentle exhalation, inhalation of life force energy, which a Taijiquan practitioner pays attention to, but it comes completely naturally and occurs with the rhythm of the body. Therefore, Mr. Huang also calls it a kind of "spontaneous exercise", or "spontaneous rhythm" . Reaching a higher level of relaxation, you can achieve a higher level of self-repair, develop your own higher-level potential capabilities, activate the wisdom of cells and achieve the goal of health.


黃老師一再強調的是「用身體去感受」。他說因為身體會講話,在放鬆的情況下你也可以接收到比你所需要還要多外來的的東西。所以他常說不要吝嗇讓你的雙手放鬆。手一鬆就會動了起來,手一動,心臟血管肺部跟著動了起來,心臟如果無力其他臟器也就無法健康。氣血塞住會塞成問題,因此練功時,有人雙手會拼命的揮動,因為他要打開裡面塞住的地方。塞住的地方鬆開,腳也會輕鬆的踩動起來。就這樣促進了新陳代謝。身上多餘的垃圾或穢氣自然就會被排出,沒了這些垃圾穢物身體就健康起來。

What Mr. Huang has repeatedly emphasized is "feeling with your body". He said that because the body speaks, you can also receive more than you need in a relaxed situation. So he used to say don't be mean to let your hands relax. Once the hand is relaxed, it will start to move your body. When the hand is moved, the heart, blood vessels and lungs will follow. If the heart is weak, other organs will not be healthy. Blood clogs can be a problem, so when practicing the exercises, some people will spontaneously wave their hands desperately because they want to open the place where they are blocked. When the plugged place is loosened, the foot will move easily. This boosts metabolism. The excess rubbish or filth from the body will be excreted naturally, and the body will be healthy without these rubbish or filth.

           黃老師表示人的身體沒辦法放鬆,肌肉就跟著緊繃,肌肉一緊繃,身體就會產生問題季臻師姐的情況最明顯, 兩個禮拜沒到山上來練功有一點當機到了後,一放鬆熱身,她又開始恢復一些暫時失去的功能。他認為免疫系統有病變的人 都要保持良好的運動習慣無論如何的忙,他們都要讓他們的肌肉鬆開 讓他們的筋骨柔軟很多人的坐姿出了毛病走路的時候,又因為脊椎不正確,身體就常出現一些毛病,這些人練起來的時候,更需要身放鬆,只要身體放鬆,它就會做自我修復身體會自己去抓它身體平衡點。比如腫瘤癌細胞在你身體堆積之後氣血無法通過,你只要放鬆,你就會不斷想要鬆開那些地方。你可能會不斷地運動那個部位,這時那個地方的氣血可能就會疏通。

      Mr. Huang said that if the human body cannot relax, the muscles will be tightened. When the muscles are tight or rigid, the body will have problems. Zen Sister Ji Zhen's 季臻師姐 situation was the most obvious. If she didn't come to the mountain to practice exercises for two weeks, she would have some problems with her body movements. After reaching the mountain, as soon as she relaxed and warmed up, she began to regain some temporarily lost functions. He believes that people with a diseased immune system should keep good exercise habits. No matter how busy they are, they have to loosen their muscles and make their bones soft. Many people have problems with their sitting, standing or walking posture. When they sit, stand, or walk, their spine is often misaligned, and their body often has some problems. When these people practice Natural Qigong, they need to relax their body. As long as the body is relaxed, the spine will repair itself. The body will grab its own balance point. For example, after tumor cells accumulate in your body, Qi and blood cannot pass through. As long as you relax, you will naturally constantly want to loosen up those places. Your brain will automatically decide how many neurons are to assign to a task.You may be constantly moving that part, and the blood in that area may be unclogged.    

      黃老師認為不放鬆的運動有時候反而是種傷害。運動過量與放鬆修復是不一樣的很多人因為病變後,醫生囑咐要他們多運動,他們就開始積極的運動。但這些積極的運動有時後就變成過度激烈運動,這反而傷害身體。有的人還是為了事業,連運動都是緊繃地,焦急地運動,有的人是沒有足夠時間運動。為了節省時因此就在非放鬆地練了平甩功之類的有為法運動。如果他們是健康的人,這也無妨。帶運動的人有時候會猛烈的甩所以說他們可能會不顧自身的身體傾斜,用力的甩,這有時候反而會甩出問題來。這是一項非常好的運動,但只有在放鬆的情況下才能幫助改善運動者血液循環,並開始身體的癒合過程。所以放鬆是練習所有功法的重點。

         Mr. Huang believes that exercise that does not relax can sometimes be a kind of injury. Excessive exercise is not the same as relaxation repair. Many people began to exercise actively after the doctor told them to exercise more because of the disease they had. But these active workouts sometimes turn into hyperactive workouts, which can actually hurt the body. Some people are still working out for their careers, and they even exercise intensely and anxiously because the time spared is limited, while some people do not have enough time to exercise. In order to save time, they may practice dharma exercises such as Ping Shuai Gong (平甩功Swinging Hand Exercises) as an intensive exercise. It doesn't matter a lot if they're healthy people. But instructors of such exercise sometimes may ask for violent swings, so they may ignore their body lean and swing their hands and arms forcefully, which sometimes causes problems.  It is a very good exercise, but it helps to improve the blood circulation and start the healing process only when you do it in a relaxed manner. So relaxation is the key point of all exercises.

自然禪的中的第二個動作是甩手自然禪的甩手是放鬆的甩,自律神經會告訴你如何地放鬆地是最適合你的。不是一味地亂甩,或過激,可能讓你的元氣耗盡,對身體反而有害。因為根據中醫,這是洩的動作 雖然某種程度上這種甩加強新陳代謝,但就像其它運動一樣,過度激烈對身體反而是種傷害。自然產的運動自律神經在主導,它是自動化的你甩了過久之後,身體自然就會回補,你就會做出像採氣的一些動作,也就是變的身體會透過放鬆採集周遭的能量而恢復精力。像這樣的練功,練完後通常是精力充沛,身心愉快的。

The second Workout Moves of Natural Walking Zen is to swing hands and arms while walking. But it is a relaxed swing, and the autonomic nerve will tell you how to do a relaxed swing that suits you best. It's not just swinging it blindly. If you swing it too much, it may deplete your vitality and be harmful to your body. Because according to Chinese medicine, this is the action of venting. Although to a certain extent this kind of swinging will strengthen the metabolism, just like other sports, excessive intensity is actually a kind of damage to the body. The natural moves are dominated by the autonomic nervous system, which is spontaneous. After you have dumped some bad qi for too long, your body will naturally make up for it, and you will perform some actions like collecting qi, that is, the weakened body will absorb some energy from nature through relaxation. Harvest the surrounding energy to restore your body energy. After a practice like this, one is usually full of energy and happy both physically and mentally.

比如說在棲蘭山160行禪時,黃老師會要求學員們全身要放鬆,無念,手一擺動,  把頸部先鬆掉, 把心肺鬆開,身體自然會大口大口的呼吸,頓時身心暢快,精神百倍。 有時在病床上,當血氧濃度開始變低的時候, 只要靠著身體放鬆,雙手自然地擺動, 血氧濃度就增加到90幾。這是許多師兄姐親身的經驗。

For example, during the walking zen practices in Qilan Mountain(棲蘭山), Teacher Huang will ask the students to relax their whole bodies, without thinking. With a swing of their hands, practitioners loosen their necks first, loosen their hearts and lungs, and their bodies will naturally breathe deeply, and they will feel at ease. They become energetic and full of vitality. Sometimes on the hospital bed, when the blood oxygen concentration starts to decrease, as long as you relax your body and swing your hands naturally, the blood oxygen concentration will increase to be higher than 90. This is the experience of many Zen brothers and sisters.

人體除了神經系統外還有肌肉骨骼系統、循環系統、呼吸系統、腸胃系統、皮膚系統、泌尿系統、生殖系統、免疫系統、內分泌系統等。自然禪之珍貴在於啟動自律神經系統,透身體的放鬆讓副交感神經帶動其他各個系統的放鬆,而達到了自我調整、甚至自我醫療的功能。市面上各式氣功或健身法都對都有某種程度幫助,但也常因但也常常因為學過的某種功法,下意識以為那就是最好的功法,而無法把自己完全放下,而阻礙了真正的自我修復。自律經系統如果無法完全放鬆,我們將永遠無法真正進入自我修復的殿堂。 自然禪只是在回復最放鬆的狀態下,讓自律神經系統在恍恍惚惚、杳杳冥冥的狀態下發揮到最高的境界。

In addition to the nervous system, the human body also has the musculoskeletal system, the circulatory system, the respiratory system, the gastrointestinal system, the skin system, the urinary system, the reproductive system, the immune system, and the endocrine system. The preciousness of natural Zen lies in activating the autonomic nervous system. The relaxation of the body allows the parasympathetic nerves to drive the relaxation of other systems, thereby achieving the function of self-adjustment and even self-medication. All kinds of qigong or fitness methods on the market are helpful to some extent, but often because of a certain practice method that I have learned, I subconsciously think that it is the best practice method, and I can't completely let go of myself. And hinders true self-healing. If the self-discipline system is not completely relaxed, we will never be able to truly enter the temple of self-healing. Natural Zen only restores the most relaxed state, allowing the autonomic nervous system to play to the highest state in a trance and stagnant state.


     黃老師也常提到小孩子在身體不適的時候常會做出自我整治的動作,如歪嘴斜眼,在床上翻滾的動作,而動物也有各種自我整治的動作。正如Greg Braden 博士在《自我療癒的信念》(The Spontaneous Healing of Belief)(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8DeBePK3Wg一書中所提到動物的「潛意識與意識電腦」(subconsciousness and consciousness computer),他說「雖然我們並無法理解其中的密碼(code),但我們生物有機體的自發行為卻一直運行中」。

Spontaneous healing is not a miracle but a fact of biology--the result of the natural healing system that each one of us is born with.

英國牛津大學神經學博士陳惟華在2016年發表的一篇文章自癒力原來就是「自律神經」中指出「自律神經就如同身體一個全自動的中央控制中心,不但擁有監控全身各角落的監視系統,而且能主動、即時調度資源到失調的現場進行維修的工作。

他歸納自律神經系統有三大功能為一、自律神經調控全身「良好的血液循環」血液循環決定生老病死.二、自律神經掌控體內「平衡的發炎消炎」三、自律神經負責身體「和諧的器官運作」他強調人人都有與生俱來的「自癒力」

自然禪之由有為而入無為

由有為而入無為

自然禪是無為的動作,不是靠意念的操控。運動的過程完全由自律神經掌控,最終的運動目標是細胞做主。如果一開始,就能進入無為的狀態,那當然是最好的。但是在進入無為的階段中,很多人無法完全放鬆。因此,黃老師設計出一套讓學員們能夠漸漸放鬆,而無為的氣功態。只要做幾分鐘對身體也有相當的幫助,但是真正要進入自我療癒的殿堂一定要放下這些動作。

在還沒有完全進入自然禪無為的殿堂之前,學員們只能利用很多師兄師姐的動作來引導自己。對那些有類似病狀的人來講,每天只要做個幾分鐘,也有相當大的幫助,他們的症狀也可以得到緩解及改善。但黃老師提到,在做這個動作的時候最好是眼睛閉著,自然放鬆。因為你張開眼睛,你還是會受到別人影響,而無法真正發展出自己所需要的動作或特殊的行為,這對我修復的能力得完全發揮還是有某種程度的影響。這種完全自癒能力的發揮是每一個人生命本能。簡單講就是透過一些有為的引導而進入無為的殿堂。

From Doing Something to Doing Nothing

Natural Zen is an action of inaction, not controlled by the mind. The process of exercise is completely controlled by the autonomic nerveous system, and the ultimate exercise goal is determined by the cells. If you can enter the state of non-action from the very beginning, that is of course the best. But in the stage of non-doing, many people cannot relax completely. Therefore, Teacher Huang designed a set of qigong postures that allow students to gradually relax and do nothing. Just doing it for a few minutes is quite helpful to the body, but to really enter the palace of self-healing, you must let go of these actions.

Before they have fully entered the palace of natural Zen and Wuwei (doing nothing), students can only use the movements of many brothers and sisters to guide themselves. For those who have similar symptoms, just doing it for a few minutes a day can also be of considerable help, and their symptoms can also be relieved and improved. But Teacher Huang mentioned that it is best to close your eyes and relax naturally when doing this movement. Because you open your eyes, you are still influenced by other people, and you can't really develop the movements or special behaviors you need, which still affects my ability to repair to a certain extent. The full play of self-healing ability is the life instinct of everyone. To put it simply, it is to enter the palace of inaction through some active guidance.

此外,你做出某種動作時候黃老師,師兄姐會幫忙你了解你身體上哪個地方出了問題,那個經絡塞住,你的動作對哪個地方有幫助。讓你解除對自己一些奇奇怪怪的動作的疑惑,那你就能夠對自己的動作有更進一步的了解不會產生茫然不知所措的感覺,然後一步一步進入了無為的殿堂。和這種無為常常在遠離塵囂空氣清新的森林裡更能完全展現出來。這也是為什麼黃老師鼓勵大家到山上來練功的原因之一。

自然禪之潛能開發

潛能開發

一般的所謂潛能開發的本質常常指的是腦力開發或者所謂的第五層次開發。它強調知識更新技能開拓」,」思維創新」觀念轉變」等激勵人類本能的訓練。

北京中醫藥大學副教授兼北京天人醫易中醫藥研究院院長曲黎敏先生在《黃帝內經養生智慧》一書的作者序便提到,「西方「人類潛能運動」的研究者指出:現階段的人類心靈狀態,並不是終極狀態,日常意識層次,只不過是一種有局限的層次。因此,人類需要改變意識狀態,發掘人類潛能。」

人在面臨生死邊緣或在危急之時,常會發揮的驚人潛力。這是因為腦部因某種外來的刺激,而爆發出來的力量。如何發掘這種力量就是黃老師的「潛能開發」。

而黃老師的潛能開發過程,是一個完全放鬆的過程。在放鬆的過程中所有的身體系統細胞組織都會自然運作,進行全方位的潛能開發。這種潛能開發是因為你放鬆的身心讓細胞的運作自由的發揮。所以黃老師的潛能開發不是只有大腦的潛能而已,而是全身的細胞組織的自由運作發揮。

它的開發方法不是刻意地心理修煉,而是閉上眼睛,放鬆身心不帶任何意念,不必強記任何招式動作,不做任何導引。它雖不刻意激勵特訓、不刻意心靈禪修,不期待智慧增長,不強調心靈提昇、或領袖特質培養,但這些能力卻常常在放鬆下自我頓悟得來,在共修的互動中得到的激勵黃老師認為這樣的潛能開發才能真正開發出內在細胞自我的智慧,不只是腦細胞而已, 還包括所有身體上各部位的細胞。

生物學家、植物學家、生態學家、林務員和博物學家都相繼發表有關樹木的內在生活的研究論文。他們認為樹木會說話,而人類只要透過傾聽也可以學會聽到並聽懂這種樹的語言。

英屬哥倫比亞大學森林保育科學系森林生態教授蘇珊娜·西馬德(Suzanne Simard)是一位有名的植物學家。她的專長是研究地底下連結樹與樹之間溝通及互動的真菌網絡系統。她的團隊揭開了樹與樹之間溝通的密碼,他們證實樹會利用地底下的網絡系統來溝通。在這些複雜的共生網絡中,有著很像是我們中樞神經系統的母親樹(mother trees),及像我們周邊神經系統的子樹,它們之間有著相互溝通的社交網絡(neural and social networks.)。她在2016TDKs Sperkers(一個可向世界發聲的談話網站)發表的《樹如何彼此對話》(How Trees Talk To Each Other(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWOqeyPIVRo)的演說中指出, 紙皮樺(學名:Betula albo-sinensis)和花旗松(學名:Pseudotsuga-menziesii樹根下面 有很多白色的菌絲--它們構成了樹與樹之間的網絡系統。

Biologists, botanists, ecologists, foresters, and naturalists have successively published research papers on the inner life of trees. They believe that trees communicate, and humans can learn to listen and understand this tree language by actively listening.

Suzanne Simard, a renowned botanist and professor of Forest Ecology at the University of British Columbia, specializes in researching the underground network of fungi connecting trees for communication and interaction. Her team unveiled the code of communication between trees, confirming that trees utilize an underground network for this purpose. In these intricate mutualistic networks, there exist mother trees, which are somewhat akin to our central nervous system, and the associated trees, resembling our peripheral nervous system, establishing a network of mutual communication, neural and social networks between them. In her 2016 talk titled "How Trees Talk To Each Other," shared on TDKs Sperkers (a public speaking platform), she highlighted that beneath the roots of trees such as the Betula albo-sinensis (Silver Birch) and Pseudotsuga menziesii (Douglas Fir), there exists a vast network of white mycelium, constituting the system of communication between trees.

Her team demonstrated that trees use these mycelia to communicate elements such as carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus. Furthermore, she proved that certain chemical hormones in water assist in the transmission of information between trees. In a forest, a mother tree can connect with several hundred other trees. Trees don't just engage in competitive relationships with each other but also exhibit cooperative relationships. Her team designed an experiment by planting mother trees alongside their offspring and some unrelated seedlings. The results indicated that the mother tree recognized its offspring and extended its larger mycelial network to cover the area where its offspring were located.

Underground, they provided more carbon to their offspring and even reduced the expansion of their own roots to create more space for their offspring's activities. When a mother tree is injured or about to die, it passes its wisdom to the next generation. When they sense changes in the external environment, they also warn their offspring. These researchers used isotope tracing to track the movement of carbon elements and defense signals. They observed the trunk of an injured mother tree and its underground fungal network, and then observed the surrounding seedlings. They found that the carbon elements and defense signals of the mother tree could be transferred to these seedlings, enhancing their resilience and stress resistance for future survival. Peter Wohlleben, a German forest ranger and author, who possesses a rare understanding of the inner life of trees, in his book 'The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate,' describes trees as superorganisms that are accessible and evoke emotions. He presents data showing that plants, apart from forming alliances with their own species, communicate with and establish alliances with other species. He believes that many forest trees have evolved to live and cooperate with other species using collective intelligence similar to insect colonies.

Although Mr. Huang lacks an academic background in botany, he has consistently studied the code of cells.
